NIH NeuroBioBank

Autism Speaks and the Simons Foundation have entered into an agreement with the National Institutes of Health to align two of the world’s largest repositories of donated postmortem brain tissue for medical research: Autism BrainNet and the NIH NeuroBioBank.

Dup15q Alliance

Because of the strong commitment by the Dup15 Alliance and the community with mutations in a region of this chromosome, many scientific discoveries have been made using brain tissue of those with Dup15.

Phelan-McDermind Syndrome Foundation

The Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation(PMSF) has partnered with Autism BrainNet to allow the participation of individuals in the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome(PMS) community in helping to make scientific discoveries possible. Discoveries from these donations will advance the development of specific and targeted interventions for those with Phelan-McDermid Syndrome and autism spectrum disorder in general.
